The family of physical education teacher Thaysa Muller, 38; gymnast Alice Muller de Moura Marques, 9; and Ana Luísa Muller, 12, is undergoing major changes. Alice and Thaysa were invited to join the MS Gymnastics team in Goiânia, GO, as an athlete and gym coordinator, respectively.
As of today, they are traveling to Goiânia with their luggage, with the official presentation scheduled for next Monday, January 22. The nine-year-old girl’s mother says she is “proud” of her dream come true.
Thaysa’s history with artistic gymnastics began when she was around 12 years old at Dom Bosco School. She became interested in the sport, later majoring in Physical Education at UCDB (Dom Bosco Catholic University). This led to a career in coaching and judging.
Thaysa has had the opportunity to coach gymnasts such as Daniele Hypólito and Jade Barbosa and has been both a national judge and coach of the LCGYM gym. She noted a significant moment when a former student of hers, Danielly Vieira Onório, became a teacher.
Last year, the family represented Mato Grosso do Sul at a national tournament in Anápolis, GO. In December, MS Gymnastics offered Thaysa the position of gym coordinator and an opportunity for her youngest daughter. They are now making arrangements to move to Goiânia.
Thaysa has visited the MS Gymnastics facilities, which she found impressive, and is currently seeking sponsorships for her daughter. She is excited about the new opportunities and amenities available in Goiânia.
